At the end of September, the awarding of the "1A Distinguished Training Organization" certificate took place during a personal visit by Mr. Martin Keppler, Managing Director of IHK Nordschwarzwald, at LEUCO in Horb.

The coveted award was received with pride by CEO Frank Diez, Human Resources Manager Günther Graef, Training Manager Tobias Graff and the trainees. The seal of approval honors regional companies that support apprentices in above and beyond what the law requires in the company.

LEUCO is one of two companies in Horb which received this award from the Nordschwarzwald district IHK (chamber of industry and commerce), to which about 1,500 companies belong.

"We are very happy about this award, but just as proud of our trainees, who are always excellent participants and who enrich our company in various departments with spirit and new ideas. We see our job as a training organization as a contribution toward an investment in the future of our economy and, as a company here in the Nordscharzwald region, are pleased to accept this responsibility," expressed CEO Frank Diez.

LEUCO is among the leading manufacturers of tools for the wood and furniture industry with about 1,100 employees worldwide. At its main site at the Heiligenfeld business park in Horb, Germany, LEUCO employs about 250 people.
